WinAir Pro-SQL is the perfect choice for larger maintenance facilities. Product features include: requisition system, core tracking, electronic tech logs and assembly management.
Auditors love it! Operators have passed audits on numerous occasions, thanks to WinAir. Many regulatory agencies have recommended WinAir.
Cost-efficientMinimal upfront costs, stable monthly payments and no annual renewal fees.
WinAir is batch-oriented and every batch of parts can have a unique location. This means you can determine where your parts are at all times, you don't have to keep track of stock in multiple locations and you don't need to look in separate lists to see the stock on hand in each location.
For example, you can have 34 AN3-3A bolts on the shelf, another 500 in a bag upstairs, and 15 on another base. You can view batch locations by choosing a part number from the main inventory screen; you'll see a list of every batch you have on hand, including the location, remaining quantity, cost, expiry date, etc.
Most of the time, you will keep items with the same part number in a standard place. You can specify a default location in the master part record so that when that part number comes into stock, WinAir will place it in the default location. You can also change the location of a part or batch of parts quickly and easily. Even better, you can split an existing batch and move part of it.
Alphanumeric System
We recommend devising an alphanumeric system for part locations. For a small organization, this might be a three-digit code like 4F3 to represent Shelf 4, Box F, Compartment 3. Bigger companies with multiple parts rooms, floors, and even hangars can increase the digits as necessary.
The location field inWinAir is 12 characters long, so there's room to be more descriptive if required. For example, a location of C-GXXX could indicate that the part is in the spares kit with an aircraft and LITTLE RIVER could be a remote base. You could also use BATTERY SHOP, TOOL ROOM, QUARANTINE, REPAIR ROOM, TIRE SHOP, etc. if you have designated areas for rotables.
Define up to 10 Bases
The Pro-SQL edition ofWinAir goes a big step further in that it allows you to define up to 10 different bases. In the master part file, you can then specify which bases you wish to stock a part number at, what the default location should be on that base, and what the min, max, and re-order quantities should be. You can also build packing slips to transfer parts between bases, either complete batches, or only portions. You can generate Min/Max Reports, Inventory Value Reports and Parts Count Sheets for each base if you like.
WinAir gives you a great deal of flexibility as every batch can have a base and a location. For instance, you can track parts in a spares kits by defining a base of ?FIELD?, using the aircraft registration as the location and then printing an inventory report by location for base FIELD. In doing so, you can view what parts are in your spares kits by aircraft, all on one report!
Additionally, if remote bases have been set up to use WinAir, users with the necessary security rights can complete their own drop-ship receiving and issue parts to their own aircraft. WinAir can also help base staff do their jobs, while at the same time keep head office up- to-date on what is happening at other bases.
