WinAirWeb Reliability 3.1.0 – Launch Scheduled
AV-BASE is releasing the new version of WinAirWeb Reliability 3.1.0 very soon. The latest version has numerous updates that focus on report enhancements, component details and simplified Reliability review processes. WinAirWeb Reliability 3.1.0 offers:
  • Simplified Drill Down access to report data
  • Efficient review process for Tasks and Part Dispositions
  • New ‘Review Deadlines’ so Cases and Issues can be filtered by date
  • Easy access to important documents related to Issues
  • Enhanced accessibility - you do not require access to WinAir to view component values
  • Improved Source Discovery with traceability to parent Work Orders and Tasks to see where problems originated
  • Rapidly find Consequence data based on Issues

Versioning Capabilities – Available Now!

Versioning capabilities in the Update Center are now available for all WinAir SQL customers. Versioning is a method by which you can choose the program version number you wish to download and apply to your production WinAir environment.

No set up is required; when performing an update, you will simply see a new Versioning page that allows you to select which version you would like to download and install. The selection will default to the most current version available for WinAir. If you have multiple programs, including web-based WinAir applications, the Update Center will display all available and compatible versions to download.
Benefits of Versioning Plan your Update Process:

  • The Update Center allows you to preview updates related to a specific version number. By selecting a version, you can schedule your updates around your workload.

Modular Assemblies – Coming Soon!

We are pleased to announce the upcoming release of WinAir Version 5.3.0. This release is the first of a multi stage process for Modular Assemblies. The Modular Assemblies project came to life in order to provide WinAir users with an advanced Assembly Management System. This means that when the project is completely released, users will have the ability to:

  • preserve compliance and performed maintenance information on assemblies even when not installed on aircraft

  • configure components and assemblies before installation as well as forecast calendar-based maintenance for assemblies both on and off the aircraft

  • update and merge templates with the incorporation of revision control

  • move sub-assemblies as part of the parent assembly when they are installed or removed

  • reduce data duplication by making Templates and MCNs modular so that they can be defined once and then reused as many times as necessary

  • improve part compatibility and control maintenance applicability of sub-assemblies based on the parent assembly that is currently installed.

The staged release process will ensure a steady and successful implementation of Modular Assemblies while gradually introducing the users to the new concepts and interface for an easy transition. Stage A will not have any changes to existing functionality in production or tech records with the exception of the new template screens. The new template screens will allow you to re-configure your template to make the best use of the new features that will be introduced with the next stage. This is a mandatory upgrade for all customers. For operations that do not require Assemblies and Off-Wing Management, WinAir will continue to function as it previously did. AV-BASE Calendar – Aircraft Photos
AV-BASE is putting together a calendar featuring WinAir customers and their aircraft. Submit your photos by email with a quote describing your WinAir experience and you may be selected to be in our 2010 calendar. We will be accepting photos until September 1st, 2009. We are looking forward to receiving your photos! Submit your photos today!
